The Challenge


Quorum Business Solutions, is a software company serving the energy vertical with ERP products suited for oil and gas companies. The legacy product used stored procedures for gas pipeline measurement. As part of their efforts with SharpQuest to modernize their portfolio of products, they needed to convert this stored procedures into micro-services.



Our Work


We digitized the stored procedures and converted them into micro-services within their gas pipeline measurement product. The new services are scalable, hosted on cloud and achieves desired performance goals for the industry.

 

Technology utilized included: C#, Mongo DB, RabbitMQ, Service Fabric, and MS Test.

 

Key features of the work and resulting app:

  • Analyzed existing SQL procedures and converted them to C# based micro-services
  • Developed test harness to test the new process results with existing SQL procedures
  • Hosted micro services using Azure Service Fabric
