The Challenge

Plastic Omnium & Inergy Automotive is a Tier 1 supplier of plastic fuel tanks to Automotive OEMs throughout the world. Their Engineering Design team had a manual process for approving drawings before sending them to their Suppliers. The process was slow, required manual paperwork, and an onsite dedicated staff. They Wanted to automate this process to gain efficiencies.

Our Work

We developed a web application portal to approve the drawings online with electronic signatures and send drawings to suppliers and other stack holders electronically. Once released, the application was adopted by several divisions within the company and new enhancements were made to include different types of drawings.

The application automates the process for approval and transfer for all 2D and 3D drawings.
